NMR Symposium

On October 3rd, 2015, an inaugural symposium was held in celebration of the new instrumentation and capabilities at OSU's Campus Chemical Instrument Center (CCIC). With support from OSU, the state of Ohio, and the NIH, our new center comprises 9 high-field NMR instruments by Bruker Biospin with magnetic fields between 600 MHz and 850 MHz. The capabilities of this state-of-the-art NMR center, which are unique in the US, allow the investigation of a wide range of molecules and materials. During the symposium, attendees had the opportunity to learn more about the capabilities of our instruments during guided tours by our NMR staff.

The symposium was sponsored by Bruker Biospin and was free for all attendees. Speakers were invited from across Ohio, with keynote speakers from Bruker and elsewhere to highlight specific new capabilities. Attendees also participated in a poster session to present their NMR-related work.
