The location of the Symposium is the Ohio Staters, Inc. Traditions Room, 2nd Floor, Ohio Union, 1739 North High Street, Columbus, OH 43210. First choice for parking is the Ohio Union South Garage, and if that is full, the Ohio Union North Garage is the next choice. The garages are accessible from both High Street and College Road. If both of those garages are full, alternate parking is located south of the Ohio Union, at the South Campus Gateway garage, on 11th Avenue, just east of High Street. Parking is a challenge, so we suggest arriving to campus by 7:30-8:00am and car pool if at all possible. Please don’t leave the parking garage and try to come back, if you don’t have to. It is very likely you won’t be able to find a spot to park, especially mid-day.
Registration and a continental breakfast are from 7:30am - 8:25am. During that time, we will give you your receipt for registration fees paid using a credit card or check, and you’ll pick up a printed program and your name badge. Also, let us know if you need a parking voucher to pay for your parking. One Single Exit Voucher will be given per car and will cover the parking fees for the day. If you do leave the parking garage using the parking voucher and return, you will be responsible for the additional parking fees.
Payments will be processed on Monday, 4/14/14. If you find that you cannot attend, please contact Robin Gates, and she will know not to process your payment.
NEW FOR 2014: Ohio State has adopted a tobacco free policy that supports a healthy environment for all members of the Buckeye Nation. Effective January 1, 2014, the use of all types of tobacco products is prohibited in all university buildings and on all university-owned properties, including parking lots, garages, and all outside areas.
